## How volume-based trading fees work

Your trading fees are calculated based on your **total trading volume over a rolling 30-day period**.

Here is how it works:

- Your total trading volume includes all buys, sells and swaps
- Trading activity is measured over a rolling 30-day window
- As your trading volume increases, you unlock lower trading fees
- Fee discounts are automatically applied when you become eligible

There is nothing you need to turn on or apply for. If your trading volume qualifies for a lower fee tier, it is applied automatically.

- Active trading fee rate

directly in the **profile section of your Digital Surge account**. This gives you full visibility into how your trading activity affects your fees at any time.
