Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

The Digital Surge account holder asks our support team to enable the BGL feed on the fund's account. An email to contact@digitalsurge.com.au does it.
-
Get the fund's Customer UID
We enable the integration and send back a Customer UID for the account.
-
Enter it in BGL
In Simple Fund 360, go to Connect, then Feed Management, then Wraps and Platforms. Choose Digital Surge as the feed provider and enter the Customer UID as the account ID. BGL's setup guide for the Digital Surge feed walks through the screens.
For practices
Running a practice with funds on Digital Surge?
The feed is enabled per account, so each client fund is switched on individually. If a client's fund uses tax software outside BGL, read-only API keys and CSV exports cover the common crypto tax tools; our SMSF crypto account page has the full picture. Practices that look after several funds can also join our Corporate Affiliate Program, which includes a dedicated local account manager and a partner portal.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is the BGL data feed free?
Yes. There's no charge from Digital Surge, and BGL lists the feed as part of its standard Wraps and Platforms service in Simple Fund 360. Check with BGL for their current packaging.
Can the feed import historical transactions?
Yes. When an account is linked to BGL, Digital Surge includes all historical transactions. A fund that has traded for years doesn't need to rebuild anything by hand.
Who asks for the feed to be turned on?
The Digital Surge account holder requests it, usually a trustee. If you're the fund's accountant or administrator, ask your client to contact our support team and we'll take it from there.
What if a fund doesn't use BGL?
Statements, full transaction history exports and read-only API access cover funds administered outside BGL. Our SMSF crypto account page covers what's available and which tax tools connect.
